Research on Rotating Arc Extinguishing to Breaking Technology of High Voltage DC Contactors

摘要:

结合汽车电动化给各行各业带来新机遇的大背景,阐述新能源应用领域新型高压直流接触器灭弧方案。为提高直流接触器的灭弧能力以适配逐渐升高的电压等级,研制了一种基于旋转灭弧的原理样机。结合建模仿真与实际工况,验证产品的电气性能与极限分断能力,并给出了试验波形。结果表明旋转灭弧技术路线利用空气介质可以提高性能指标。

Abstract:

Against the backdrop of new opportunities brought by the electrification of automobiles to various industries, this paper elaborates on the arc extinguishing scheme of new high voltage DC contactors in the field of new energy applications. To improve the arc extinguishing ability of DC contactors to adapt to gradually increasing voltage levels, a prototype based on rotating arc extinguishing principle was developed. Combining modeling and simulation with actual working conditions, the electrical performance and ultimate breaking capacity of the product were verified, and the experimental waveforms were provided. The results show that the performance of rotating arc extinguishing technology roadmap can be improved by using air-dielectric.
