智能塑壳断路器电流互感器设计

Design of Current Transformer for Intelligent Molded Case Circuit Breaker

摘要:

智能塑壳断路器(MCCB)中的电流互感器(CT)不仅用于采集电流信号,而且为电子脱扣器提供能量。如果设计不合理,其在小电流下供能不足或者带载阻抗较大,就会导致磁芯饱和并引起二次侧电流畸变,进而引起测量误差。针对上述问题,以额定电流63 A智能塑壳断路器为研究对象,从理论上推导满足测量和取能要求的电流互感器匝数范围,通过Ansys仿真分析确定最优匝数,并在二次侧加入MOS管,采用PWM方式控制负载侧电压。仿真和实验结果表明,所设计的电流互感器能够在0.4In~10.0In电流范围内,带载等效阻抗为1 kΩ的负载输出波形不失真,在全电流范围内既保证测量精度又满足供能要求。

Abstract:

In an intelligent molded case circuit breaker (MCCB),the current transformer (CT) not only collects current signals but also supplies power to the electronic trip unit.If the design is inadequate, insufficient power can be provided at low current levels or when the load impedance is high,leading to core saturation,secondary-side current distortion,thereby causing measurement errors.To address these issues,a 63 A rated intelligent MCCB is selected as the research subject.The range of CT turns meeting the requirment of measurement and energy extractions is theoretically derived.Then, Ansys simulations are conducted to determine the optimal number of turns.Additionally, a MOSFET is introduced on the CT’s secondary side to control the load-side voltage by means of PWM.Simulation and experimental results show that the designed CT can maintain undistorted output waveforms with an equivalent load impedance of 1 kΩ in a current range of 0.4In to 10In.Across the entire current range, the solution ensures accurate measurement while meeting power supply requirements.
