Abstract:

Aiming at the problem that a certain type of balanced-force electromagnetic relay produced by Guizhou Zhenhua Qunying Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. operates under complex load conditions, and a single contact material cannot meet the service requirements under all working conditions, experimental research on contact material selection is carried out. Taking two contact materials, silver-cadmium oxide (AgCdO) and silver-tin oxide-indium oxide (AgSnO2In2O3), as the research objects, comparative electrical life tests are completed under resistive AC and DC operating conditions. Matching appropriate contact material schemes according to different load characteristics can effectively extend the overall service life of the relay. The research results can provide experimental basis and technical reference for contact material selection and product development of similar electromagnetic relays.
