金属液滴蒸发导致航空变频真空电弧弧后击穿的研究

Metal Droplet Evaporation in Post-Arc Breakdown Process of Aviation Variable Frequency Vacuum Arc

摘要:

为进一步掌握航空变频真空电弧的弧后击穿机理,进行了实验与仿真研究。结果表明:中频真空电弧弧后击穿过程中灭弧室内存在大量的金属液滴,成为移动的金属蒸气来源。金属液滴的寿命为1.6~2.8 ms,尤其在蒸发前100 μs,金属蒸气对弧后介质的恢复产生影响,确定金属液滴寿命的因素有液滴半径、喷射运动速度和灭弧室尺寸。金属蒸气分布以液滴为中心向外递减,80%以上在10倍半径以内。弧后的金属蒸气降低了介质恢复强度,当加在触头上恢复电压大于临界值时将发生弧后击穿。

Abstract:

In order to understand the post-arc breakdown mechanism of the aviation variable frequency vacuum arc,the experimental and simulation research is carried out.The results show that there are a large number of metal droplets in the vacuum chamber during the post-arc breakdown process for the intermediate frequency vacuum arc.The droplets are moving sources of metal vapor and the life of the metal droplet is 1.6~2.8 ms.During this period,especially the first 100 μs of evaporation,the metal vapor will affect the recovery of the post-arc dielectric.The factors which determine the life of the metal droplet are the droplet radius,jet movement speed and the size of the vacuum chamber.The distribution of the vapor decreases gradually from the center of the droplet.More than 80% of the vapor is distributed within a radius of 10 times.The post-arc metal vapor reduces the recovery strength of the dielectric.When the recovery voltage applied to contact is greater than the critical value,post-arc breakdown will occur.
