Research on Fast DC Interruption Technology Based on Piezoelectric Actuator

摘要:

直流电力系统应用日益广泛,短路故障所引发的问题愈发凸显。直流短路故障电流上升速度快且缺乏自然过零点,其产生的瞬态大电流对电力设备具有极大危害,对开关的分断速度提出了更高要求。为此,提出一种基于压电执行机构的快速机械开关(PA-FMS)结构,采用混合式开关方案,实现快速直流开断。针对压电执行机构的工作特性,设计恒流驱动电路;通过电路参数优化,减小动触头的过冲和回弹。构建混合式直流断路器实验系统,测试结果表明,混合式直流断路器的故障电流转移时间约为200 μs,全开断时间<800 μs。

Abstract:

With the increasingly widespread application of DC power systems, the problems caused by short-circuit faults have become more prominent. The DC short-circuit fault current rises rapidly and lacks a natural zero-crossing point. The transient large current generated by short-circuit fault poses great harm to power equipment and puts forward higher requirements for the breaking speed of DC switches. Aiming at this problem, a structure of fast mechanical switch based on piezoelectric actuator (PA-FMS) is proposed. By adopting a hybrid switch scheme, the fast DC interruption is achieved. In view of the working characteristics of the piezoelectric actuator, the constant-current drive circuit is designed. Through the optimization of circuit parameters, the overshoot and rebounce of the moving contact are reduced. A hybrid DC circuit breaker experimental system is constructed. The test results show that the fault current transfer time of hybrid DC circuit breaker is about 200 μs, and the full breaking time is less than 800 μs.
