Abstract:

Most of the single-phase grounding fault location of the distribution network is realized by detecting and calculating the zero-sequence current, and the corresponding hardware equipment needs to be added. It is difficult to reconstruct in the area where the distribution automation has been realized.A small current single-phase grounding fault location method based on the analysis of three-phase phase current steady-state abrupt change is proposed.According to the absolute abrupt change of the three-phase current before and after the occurrence of the ground fault, the criterion is set to realize the location of the fault section. The MATLAB simulation results and engineering applications verify the feasibility of the method. The proposed method can be located at the remote side of the main station, which is simple in calculation and reduces the complexity of the grounding location of the distribution network.
