    DC miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is used to provide overload,short circuit,overvoltage and undervoltage protection for clean energy system and various DC loads.Based on that the DC circuit has the characteristics of reasonable selection of critical load current and time constant,this paper starts from the development of DC MCB,first combs the application scenarios of DC MCB,combining with the test situation and test data of key tests,expounds and analyzes its design principle,structural design points,material selection,grounding mode and development trend.

    Simulation Study on Temperature Rise of Bimetal in MCB

    This paper uses SolidWorks software to establish a simplified bimetal model,and uses ANSYS simulation software to simulate the simplified model,and obtains the bimetal temperature distribution and the maximum shape variables.At the same time,the corresponding bimetallic sheet is completed.And the experimental analysis of the real object is carried out.By comparing the simulation and experimental results,the maximum temperature error is 0.4k and the time to reach stable temperature rise is the same,which verifies the accuracy of the simulation method.At last,the experiment and simulation of bimetal sheet with different welding process is carried out,and the influence of different welding process on bimetal sheet temperature rise is obtained.

    With world widespread application of renewable energy and the rapid development of electric vehicle industry,energy storage technology will become a key part to promote energy development.There are large differences in the maturity of different energy storage technologies.It is necessary to build an energy storage technology layout that complements multi-energy,complements strengths and weaknesses,adapts to local conditions,and prioritizes benefits.This paper sorts out the main energy storage technologies used in power systems,introduces the corresponding principles of various energy storage forms such as electrochemical energy storage,electromagnetic energy storage,heat storage technology,chemical fuel energy storage,and the future of energy storage technology.The development and application trends are prospected.The research and analysis can be used to reduce the cost of energy storage systems,improve the performance and maturity of energy storage technologies,and provide a certain reference and assistance for the solid and orderly promotion of sustainable development of clean energy.

    Thermal magnetic moulded case circuit breaker(MCCB) generally uses bimetallic sheet for overload tripping protection.The displacement of bimetallic sheet moves the operating mechanism through deformation to realize overload tripping protection.In the design,the thermal bending displacement of bimetallic sheet is the most important characteristic design.In addition,it is necessary to check whether the bending force can overcome the tripping force,and the heating of bimetallic sheet is required to reach a certain range.Finally,the design and selection method of bimetallic sheet are discussed through several examples.

    This article verifies and analyzes the factors that affect the pull-in time of AC contactor,mainly including contact bounce,coil parameters,and electrical pure iron grades.By optimizing the contact spring parameters,strictly controlling the force of the contactor contact spring,optimizing and adjusting product coil parameters,and using high-grade electrical pure iron,etc.,it can effectively reduce the pull-in time of the AC contactor and make the suction characteristics of the product better.

    DC moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) is an important part of low voltage electrical apparatus.The arc extinction is maily completed by the arc extinguishing system in MCCB.DC MCCB can use the method of increasing the number of poles and increasing capacity to improve the short-circuit breaking capacity.The method of increasing the number of poles increases the arc voltage by connecting more poles in series.The method of increasing capacity increases the arc voltage by increasing the arc extinguishing ability of a single arc extinguishing chamber.Inductance also plays a very important role in short circuit breaking.

    In order to achieve overload and instantaneous characteristics,the small size two-breakers moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) uses the direct heating bimetal sheet and solenoid electromagnet release device,but the structure of the release device can withstand less energy.By increasing the internal resistance,the current and energy of short circuit breaking can be reduced,and the high short circuit breaking capacity can be realized in the small size section.

    The system integration of 100 MWh-class energy storage power station was described,the design technology of a prefabricated cabin was introduced,and the typical application mode and control strategy of energy storage under the new energy grid connection were analyzed.The results of simulation and actual operation were verified.The theory and practice show that it can effectively solve a series of problems existing in large-scale new energy grid-connected,and it has certain demonstration significance.

    In the evaluation of DC breaking capacity and low frequency AC breaking capacity,there are general opinions in the industry:AC is easier to break than DC for the same voltage and expected short-circuit current due to the existence of natural zero crossing point of AC.This paper compares and analyzes the degree of difficulty of DC breaking and AC breaking at different frequencies,especially the comparison with AC breaking capacity of low frequency.It is concluded that with the decrease of AC frequency,AC breaking is more difficult than DC.

    With the proposal of double carbon goal,new energy power generation has developed rapidly.In the future,a high proportion of renewable energy will be integrated to the power grid,which will have a significant impact on the power system.The impact of high-proportion renewable energy on power system modeling,operation and planning is analyzed.The research status of high proportion renewable energy systems in respect of mathematical model,planning scheme,demand response,energy storage and application of artificial intelligence is presented.The problems in the research of high proportion renewable energy systems are pointed out.Finally,the future development directions of renewable energy systems are summarized,including system construction,power system flexibility,renewable energy integration technology and application of artificial intelligence.

    Based on the analysis of the closing transmission,the load power and closing power of the circuit breaker are calculated.Then the closing spring parameters are calculated with the energy conservation method by setting the speed of just close.The closing speed of the circuit breaker is tested according to the parameters of the closing spring.The measured value of closing speed is consistent with the theory.

    Due to the influence of the external environment,PV arrays are prone to local shading.At this time,the P-V characteristic curve of the battery will be converted from the original unipolar value to the multipole value,and the traditional maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control method is easy to fall into the local extremum.To this end,this paper introduces an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm that combines asynchronous time-varying learning factors with linear time-varying inertia weights.The simulation by MATLAB/Simulink shows that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can achieve MPPT better under the multi-extreme P-V characteristic curve.

    Thermal trip characteristic is an important index of miniature circuit breaker(MCB).Nowadays,most MCBs use bimetallic elements for thermal tripping of circuit breakers.The deformation of bimetallic sheet directly affects the operation of thermal release of MCB.It is very important to analyze the temperature rise and deformation of bimetallic sheet for the design of MCB.At the same time,20 groups of circuit breakers are tested for tripping.The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The accuracy of the simulation method is verified.

    Resistance capacitor series rectification is a common circuit used to provide DC power supply.When the circuit is used as the working power supply of single-phase electronic watt hour meter (WHM for short),the resistance is burned out frequently in operation.Through the analysis of theoretical and measured data,it is identified that the high-order harmonic current generated by nonlinear load flows through the working power supply of the electric energy meter,which causes the fundamental voltage distortion,and changes the operating parameters of the capacitor element,so as to increase the loop current,which is the main reason for the resistance burnout.In order to solve this problem,a high-order harmonic wave trap is connected in series in the power supply circuit of the WHM to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the WHM.

    The commonly used series connection forms of the DC moulded case circuit breaker(MCCB) short conductor were enumerated.The advantages and disadvantages of these series connection forms were analyed.Combined with the actual improvement demand of the product,a new series structure of DC MCCB short conductor was proposed,which has the advantages of increasing the current limiting capacity,reducing the temperature rise,reducing the volume and enhancing the insulation.

    This paper studied the thermal tripping bimetallic strip in miniature circuit breaker (MCB),analyzed the thermal flexivity specialty from aspects of theoretical calculation,experiment and digital simulation,respectively.A new method was proposed for bimetallic strip optimization design,and a platform was established to simulate the thermal flexivity of the bimetallic strips.A set of special fixture was developed and designed for bimetallic strip flexivity performance experiments,the experiment platform and the method were improved.Using numerical simulation instead of part of preliminary experiments,with DOE,the optimal solution of design parameters could be solved rapidly,therefore the investment and time cost were both saved.In addition,the simulation platform could also be used for the collaborative design of operating mechanism parameters,of which the verification objective is tripping force and tripping stroke.

    The large-scale development and utilization of renewable energy including solar and wind energy promote the development of energy Internet around the world.Energy storage is one of the key technologies in integrated energy systems with a high proportion of renewable energy.With the advantages of long-term energy storage,long transportation distance and abundant ways of consumption and utilization,hydrogen-based energy storage technology by water electrolysis will promote the penetration of renewable energy and play a significant role in the future.In this work,the characteristics of various energy storage technologies are compared.The working principles,characteristics and current applications of various water electrolysis technologies are thoroughly discussed.The development of related hydrogen storage,transportation,and utilization technologies are briefly summarized.Finally,the development trends of hydrogen production by water electrolysis,as well as the hydrogen storage,transportation and utilization technologies are prospected.
