Analysis on Short-Circuit Closing Performance of Grounding Switch in Environmental Gas Ring Network Cabinet

Abstract:

According to the user's needs, the layout of the three position grounding switch and the main switch of the new environmental gas ring network cabinet in operation is different. In order to meet the requirements of the standard that the grounding switch must have the ability to meet the short circuit current, in view of the safety regulations and the national grid ring network cabinet standardization regulations, the environmental gas ring network cabinet in operation is sampled and tested. The several aspects such as the grounding switch closing current testing circuit, the testing process, the national standard requirements, the technical indicators of the test, and the factors affecting the closing ability are elaborated. The test results show that the environmental gas ring network cabinet with the lower three position grounding switch successfully passed the short circuit closing test of the grounding switch, which can provide a basis for on-site operation.
