Abstract:

To study the fire risk caused by AC series fault arc,a physical experiment platform is built according to GB 14287.4—2014,and the typical AC series fault arc current waveform is obtained.Based on the improved Mayr arc model and Comsol software,a simplified model of AC series fault arc is established. The current waveform obtained by simulation is in good agreement with the experimental results.According to the simulation model, the temperature variation law during the development of fault arc is obtained. The fire risk caused by fault arc is quantitatively evaluated according to different load currents and different indoor ventilation conditions. The results show that with the increase of load current and the decrease of indoor air velocity, the fire risk caused by fault arc will increase significantly.
