Optimization Analysis of Coupling Mechanism in Wireless Charging System for Substation Inspection Robot

Abstract:

Aiming at the actual needs of the wireless charging system for the substation inspection robot,a multi-relay wireless power transfer scheme is proposed.Based on the optimization probelem of its coupling mechanism,the system model is established and the system efficiency expression is derived.Combining with the internal resistance and mutual inductance formula of the planar spiral coil,the efficiency of the multi-relay WPT system is obtained with respect to number of coil turns,coil radius and coil position.At the same time,taking the dual-relay WPT system as an example,the variation law of the system efficiency with respect to the coupling mechanism is analyzed,and the general coupling mechanism optimization method is obtained under the condition of variable load.Finally,an experimental platform is built to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed optimization method.
