Coordinated Optimization for Day-Ahead and Intra-Day Opertation of Island Micro-Grid Considering Energy Storage

Abstract:

The islanded micro-grid system has no support from the main grid and only relies on internal micro-sources to feed itself.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a reasonable operation scheme for islanded micro-grid to operate safely and economically.Considering the different roles of the energy storage system in the operation of the micro-grid,the multi-objective optimal operation model of micro-grid was established with the optimization objectives regarding economy,reliability,energy utilization efficiency,peak-valley difference,and fluctuation of equivalent load.Based on the forecast of wind power,photovoltaic power,and load,the model optimizes the operation of micro-grid at both day-ahead and within-day scales.The day-ahead optimization scheme is taken as a reference for withim-day optimization scheme and can be revised if necessary.The model is transformed into a single objective optimization problem by using fuzzy theory and binary contrast weighting method.The mixed integer programming model is solved by CPLEX software to obtain optimal scheme for the operation of the islanded micro-grid.The model can improve the reliability and efficiency of micro-grid.Simulation analysis is conducted to verify the operation scheme proposed in this paper.
