Abstract:

Traditional power cable inspection sensors are in contact with the cable under test, which affects the structural parameters of the line, and the accuracy of non-contact measurement sensors has always been a bottleneck affecting their application. In this paper,a cable inspection method based on waveform analysis was proposed. The measurement waveform of multi-point non-contact voltage sensor is used to realize the misconnect detection and cable damage detection, and reduce the influence of the measurement accuracy of the single non-contact voltage sensor.First,Ansoft Maxwell was used for modeling and simulation to determine the cylinder structure as the most appropriate sensor structure.Through the simulation of cylindrical electrodes with different specifications, the influencing factors are analyzed. Then the linearity and stability of the sensor under no-load and on-load conditions are analyzed in the experiment. The results show that the proposed method can effectively realize the judgment of cable damage detection and misconnect detection.
