Abstract:

By adopting a comparative analysis method, focusing on technical parameters and performance indicators, a detailed comparison is conducted to address the frame-type circuit breakers differences in technical requirements between GJB 370B—2020 General Specifications for Frame-Type Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers for Ships and GB/T 14048.2—2020 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear-Part 2: Circuit Breakers. The results show that the technical requirements of the marine standard are significantly higher overall than those of the civilian standard. This study reveals the essential differences between military and civilian frame-type circuit breaker standards, and provides reference value for promoting the technological progress of marine electrical equipment.

Key words: frame-type circuit breaker, marine circuit breaker, civilian circuit breaker, standard differences
