Research on Control Strategy of Self-Powered Circuit in Medium Voltage DC Distribution Network Based on PI-MPC

Abstract:

The medium voltage DC distribution network is a networking method for efficiently interconnecting different types of distributed power sources and DC loads.In the application scenario of full DC high voltage,aiming at the power supply of secondary equipment without relying on external AC power source, the traditional AC self-powered supply technology based on the mutual inductance principle is difficult to apply.Therefore,a high step-down ratio isolated DC/DC circuit is proposed.The self-powered supply for secondary equipment is realized through module input series and output parallel (ISOP) in medium voltage DC distribution networks.At the same time,a dual closed-loop control strategy based on PI-MPC is designed to improve the fast dynamic response of the voltage and current of the power supply.Finally,simulation analysis and prototype experiments are conducted.The results show that the proposed circuit and control strategy effectively improve the dynamic response performance of the system.
