Abstract:

Aiming at the problem that the disorderly charging for electric vehicles can lead to an increase in the peak valley difference rate of the total load of the distribution transformer, an orderly charging strategy based on time of use tariff periods is proposed.A mathematical model of disorderly charging for electric vehicles is established. The Monte Carlo simulation method is used to estimate the disorderly charging load of the electric vehicle cluster. With the goal of minimizing the peak valley difference rate of the total load of the power grid, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimal valley tariff period. The simulation results show that compared with disorderly charging, the proposed strategy effectively reduces the peak valley difference rate of the total load of the power grid. When the number of electric vehicles is 1 000 and the user response is 0.9, the peak valley difference rate of the total electricity load corresponding to orderly charging is reduced by 14.6% compared with disorderly charging, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
