Design of Novel Electrical Endurance Experimental System for AC Contactor

Abstract:

The accuracy of assessment in switching load capacity and reliability of AC contactor greatly depends on the electrical lifetime test method and system.Considering the optimization of contact materials,this paper introduced a novel electrical endurance experimental system for AC contactor,which is able to monitor the operating characteristic parameters of contactor.Moreover,the contact gap and magnetic gap can be flexibly adjusted.The system was used in analyzing the influence of contact gap on the operating characteristics,and the variations in electrical performance parameters.
